About Nottingham CND

Nottingham CND is a local group of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament. We campaign for the elimination of nuclear weapons world-wide and, particularly, the elimination of British nuclear weapons.

We organise open meetings about current issues. Meetings in the last year have covered the proposed US National Missile Defence, the use of Depleted Uranium, the World Court Project, and Trident Ploughshares.

We also have regular events that we organise or contribute to. We always have a stall at the Green Festival in Nottingham, which is usually held near the beginning of September. We hold a commemoration on Hiroshima Day, 6th August, in Nottingham, and run a stall on Saturdays at St Peters Gate in Nottingham.

Committee meetings are held every month or two and are open to all members. If you wish to know when the next committee meeting is planned, contact us.
