October 2004 Reportedly, the MoD has confirmed that it has signed an agreement to help develop and test a new generation of ballistic weapons, and the Prime Minister has given his consent 'in principle' to the siting of American missile interceptor batteries in Britain, probably at Fylingdales in North Yorkshire. newspaper report
